Since my starter isn’t active enough yet for my normal sourdough recipe, I’ve been experimenting with adding the discard starter into my no-knead bread recipe. I threw in a couple of folds last night because, why not... but this bread takes zero effort (hence the title ‘no-knead’). My new loaves aren’t working quite like they used to (my starter isn’t as active yet) but that’s the fun with baking. It’s all trial and error until you find a recipe and method that works for you - there’s no real ‘right’ way to do it! . This photo is from when I had my old starter.
